School students undertaking Hospitality training with Aurora Training Institute were invited to proudly support the Toowoomba RSL by preparing and serving the ‘Gunfire Breakfast’ to participants in the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day.

The students were ready bright and early for a 3:30 am start to the day and then worked through the morning cooking and serving hundreds of meals to the attendees. The work performed will go towards the services required for their Hospitality certificates.

Well done and thanks to all the students involved!

Huge thanks must also go to teachers Chris Grierson from St Saviour’s College and Arlie Hollindale from Fairholme College, who gave up their time to both supervise the students and ensure that the food was delicious and the service exceptional!
