Course Delivery

The HLT33115 — Certificate III in Health Services Assistance is delivered within 12 months. Students may choose from either weekly classroom sessions at our Toowoomba, Townsville or Gold Coast campuses, or self-paced learning with one-on-one contact with our online training option.

Certificate 3 Guarantee Program & Eligibility

The Queensland Government’s Certificate 3 Guarantee Program supports eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III level qualification. As a Skills Assure supplier, Aurora Training students may be eligible for the Guarantee Program. Students can only access the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program funding once, so it is important to ensure your training options and career goals prior to applying for the program.

Eligibility for the HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance Under Certificate 3 Guarantee.

To be eligible to study for a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, you must:

  • Be a permanent resident of Queensland.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
  • Be aged 15 or over, and no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students).
  • Not have completed or currently be enrolled in a Certificate III (or higher qualification), not including qualifications completed at school.

Student Contribution Fee

Under the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program, students pay just $2 per unit, and a total cost of $30 (concessional and non-concessional) to study a Cert 3 in Health Services. This fee represents the total cost to the student to enrol, undertake training for their Certificate 3 in Health Services and be awarded the qualification. Payment will be required before training commences.
