CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support
Offering specialisations in Aged Care, Disability and Home and Community Care, the CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support is designed to produce job ready candidates to one of the highest growth industries in Australia.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow and individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
COURSE DURATION/ METHOD OF DELIVERY
The CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support is delivered over 6 – 12 months. In order to provide flexible options, students can choose one of the following delivery options:
Classroom environment: Suitable for unemployed students. Content is delivered with weekly classroom sessions at our delivery locations.
Flexible delivery: Self-paced learning with one-on-one contact with a trainer.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate will need to complete at least 120 hours of work placement. Aurora will assist to place participants in work environments that maximise best possible outcomes.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
To achieve a CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support 13 units must be completed including 7 core units and 6 elective units. Elective units from only 1 specialisation may be chosen to fulfill the requirements of this qualification.
For the general stream vocational work placement, students will require a Police check* and Blue/Yellow cards as required by the chosen workplace. |
*Police check must be completed within the past 3 months. |
^Students may be required to complete their First Aid prior to commencement of their vocational work placement. |
All cards need to be obtained for submitted applications prior to placement. |
Due to current COVID 19 pandemic, students may also be required to have their flu vaccination from 1 May 2020. |
