Downs Industry School Co-Op (DISCO) and Aurora Training Institute teamed up to offer a formal high tea to guests at the Gatton RSL in March.

Certificate III in Hospitality students served the formal high tea as part of their service requirements.

The venue and facilities were kindly donated by the Gatton RSL which gave students the opportunity to gain experience in serving a selection of food options.

Local businesses such as Lives Lived Well, Ribs & Burgers Café and Gatton RSL members attended the High Tea and were impressed by the service.

Their trainer and assessor, Robyn Cavanough, was thrilled by the professionalism of the students and the quality of the guests’ experience

“This was a really valuable exercise for the students. They enjoyed it and the guests enjoyed it even more!”
